Aussie Performance shut down Indians Dreams by 2-0

Steven Smith Powered Australia to a 51 runs win over India in the 2nd ODI at Sydney Today. Smith thrashed 104(64) including 14 fours 2 sixes. The team players of Australia holds the highest run against India.

India was struggling to chase the runs but their dreams shut down Australian bowlers J Hazlewood (2 wickets) and Pat Cummins (3 wickets) Adam Zampa  (2 wickets).

According to Aaron Finch, “it was a perfect performance with the bat and bowl. We have preplanned all the match details and very pleased to wrap it up in two games and win this series. Smith’s incredible performance and Warner partnership boost us as a 2-0 victory. On the other hand, Moises bowled pretty well with Pat Cummins and Adam Zampa.”

Indian Skipper Virat Kohli addressed “they have outplayed us in both performances. Our players failed to chase down the score as well as in bowling situations. Even Rahul or Shreyas, if they carried on, it could have gotten us across the margin line with Hardik to come.”

Australia 389/4 in 50 overs (Warner 83, Smith 104, Labuschange 70, Finch 60, Maxwell 63; Hardik 1/24) lost to India 338/9 in 50 overs (Virat 89, LK Rahul 76, Dhawan 30; Pat Cummins 3/67, Adam Zampa 2/62, Josh Hazlewood 2/59).

India Bounces Back On Day3 in 3rd Test

India wasted little time to end England’s innings in the morning, removed the last two wickets inside 15 minutes. bowled out them at 432. Root scored 121 runs whereas Burns, Hameed and Malan got their half-centuries. Shami took 4 wickets being the highest wicket-taker for India and Bumrah, Siraj and Jadeja got 2 wickets each.

in the second inning,  Rahul and Rohit saw off the new ball threat but the former looked scratchy for the most part of his innings before nicking off at the stroke of lunch. The middle session saw Rohit notch up a gritty half-century. Rohit departed after scoring 59 runs.

After the departure of Rohit, Indian skipper Kohli and Pujara took the responsibility scored 45* and 91* respectively. The score of India at the end of day 3 is 215/2.

Can India’s middle-order continue the good work? Two days left in the Test and the hosts are still in the driver’s seat. They’ll be fancying their chances to make early inroads with the second new ball tomorrow. If India dominates another day, we could be in for another tremendous Test.
